Citizen Japan has announced a new pair of Ecozillas that are produced in collaboration with Toho and Godzilla. The world famous monster is celebrating its 70th anniversary on January 25, 2024. The two new watches have a dial and top case with a camouflage pattern inspired by Godzilla's skin. The BJ8056-01E has a black dial referencing the monochrome Godzilla, and the BJ8059-03Z has a red dial referencing an angry Godzilla. Both models have stainless steel cases that are 48.2mm in diameter and 18.5mm thick, they utilize the B873 Eco-Drive calibre. The Godzilla pattern is continued on the specialized packaging and a footprint can be seen on the case back.
