Not a large watch, this Certified Pre-Owned mens Octagon measures 31mm wide and the crown and guards add a couple more millimetres. It features a stainless steel case with 18K gold octagonal bezel, classic white Roman dial with blue steel "epee" hands, sapphire topped crown, and mechanical Cartier movement.
Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more desirable mechanical example possesses an automatic movement and in a way showcases the timeless art of traditional watchmaking.
It is all-original and presents in gorgeous condition - about a 9.7 out of 10. On the wrist it presents as mint. Unlike many examples whose lightly stamped registration is no longer intact from previous polishing, this watch's original number is still lightly intact.
A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced it ($495 value). It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially like a brand new Cartier. Note that the waterproofing gasket in the crown normally makes this model slightly stiff to wind. These are known for being difficult to wind even after servicing.
